Intensive Summer Immersion Course in Rural Andalusia – Check it out!

Andalusia, a great place to learn Spanish.

We have added a new course to our portfolio. Aimed at those who want or need to improve their Spanish level in a short space of time.

Native, qualified teachers are ready to give fun and interactive classes in the morning. This is followed by lunch and journal writing time. Later, participants take part in kayaking, paddle surfing, sailing, water colour painting or a hike to a 1000 year old oak tree or to find Roman pottery. The evenings are filled with conversations, games, or classic Spanish films. And what better way to practice your new vocabulary than in real situations such as trips to the local supermarket or bar.

Paddle Surfing, Embalse de Colomera

The course is held at a rural house in the Andalusian countryside, nestled between mountains, olive and cherry trees. Pick mulberries, apples and peaches or eat the strawberries from the patch.

With a maximum of two groups of 5 students, participants will have ample time to practise and ask questions.

Immersion in this case means Spanish, 24 hours a day. You will be dreaming in Spanish in no time!

  1. Hi I’m from
The UK and wanting to come learn Spanish. I’ve been advised I’d need 4 weeks to really learn as I’m a total beginner. Do you offer any courses for this? Thanks in advance!

    1. Hi there,

Our courses are weekly intensive immersion courses, although you could do 2 consecutive weeks to make the most of your time. Learning a language is a long term process. I moved to Spain 8 years ago (knowing absolutely nothing) and I took a course of 4 hours daily for 3 months and although I wouldn’t say that I was fluent, I can say that it gave me a really strong base.

What you could do is combine our intensive immersion course near Granada with a course at a language school in another part of Spain. I can highly recommend the school I went to. AIL Madrid ( ). Have a look at their website. They can also help you out with accommodation.

Let me know if I can help you with anything else.

    2. Hello,

Immersion courses are the best to learn languages. If you are an absolute beginner it will take you longer to switch it on. A couple of weeks would really see your Spanish kick off.
